Dr. Simone Hartwell is a clinical sport psychologist who supports athletes navigating the intersection of mental health, identity, and performance. With a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and years of experience working in collegiate athletics, Simone helps clients move from surviving to thriving.

She specializes in working with female and LGBTQ+ athletes facing anxiety, confidence issues, and high-performance stress. Her work is rooted in trauma-informed care, self-compassion, and values-based goal setting.

Simone believes that showing up fully in sport means showing up fully as yourself. Whether it’s a first-year swimmer dealing with imposter syndrome or a pro athlete managing mental fatigue, Simone creates a space where performance and wellness can coexist.

In her spare time, you’ll find her in a boxing gym or volunteering with local youth programs.
