Dr. Maya Fields is a licensed clinical psychologist and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) who specializes in helping athletes strengthen their mental game from the inside out. With over a decade of experience working with high school and collegiate athletes, Dr. Fields blends mental skills training with emotional wellness strategies to support confidence, focus, and resilience.

Whether she’s helping a teenage gymnast bounce back from injury or guiding a college quarterback through performance anxiety, her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Maya also has experience supporting athletes with perfectionism, self-doubt, and motivation plateaus.

In addition to private practice, she leads workshops for coaches and parents on building psychologically safe sport environments. When she’s not working, she’s probably hiking or catching a WNBA game with her kids.
